Mangala Shri Bhuti

Mangala Shri Bhuti is a Tibetan Buddhist organization founded by the venerable Dzigar Kongtrul Rinpoche, a lineage holder of the Nyingma tradition. Rinpoche was born in India to Tibetan parents, and at the age of 9 was recognized as an emanation of Jamgon Kongtrul Lodro Thaye, a great and influential spiritual teacher of the late 19th century. Mangala Shri Bhuti is the Sanskrit name for Dzigar Kongtrul's root teacher, His Holiness Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche. Rinpoche feels a very strong connection to the San Luis Valley, and in particular to the land granted to his organization, where the Samten Ling Retreat Center is being established for preservation and practice of the Nyingma wisdom tradition of Tibet.
